Postdoctoral positions:

Postdoctoral positions are available in this research group in an space-available basis for candidates with experience and skills that complement our research into protein structure and dynamics. In particular, this includes those with a background in two or more of the following areas: 
  • protein expression and purification
  • multidimensional biomolecular NMR spectroscopy 
  • biomolecular structure determination (by NMR or non-NMR based biophysical methods) or modelling
As we are interested in studying many systems larger than 30 kDa in molecular weight, we are using combinations of recently-developed methods that enhance the ability to acquire and interpret solution NMR spectra on macromolecules of this size (Gardner and Kay, 1998). The laboratory is well equipped for studies of this kind, including modern biochemical and computational facilities and ample access to six four-channel Varian Inova NMR spectrometers (2x500, 3x600, 800MHz) on-campus and a shared 900MHz NMR facility located in Denver, CO.
