Cd2LAC9(61), the DNA-binding domain of the Kluyveromyces
lactis LAC9 protein. A member of the Zn2Cys6 family
of fungal DNA-binding proteins, the two native zinc atoms were replaced with
NMR-active 113Cd to facilitate a variety of heteronuclear NMR
experiments to examine the metal-protein interactions.
